There are two events in Peel this weekend. On Saturday afternoon it is the Isle of Man Bank Junior Fell Running Championships whilst it is the adults who get their chance to race on Sunday. They will be on the roads in the long standing Western 10 miles from Peel to Patrick, St John, Ballacraine, the Switchback and back to Peel.
I featured promotional stuff for both events on the site some weeks ago but I have just had time to bring them back into focus during the past couple of days.
Its the first time that the juniors have had a separate day of racing on Peel Hill and I'm sure the organisers hope that all the seniors will be there too to watch and encourage the fell runners of the future.
