I was going to use my free morning (no cottage cleaning this week) to work on a job that I have been planning for months. I have been writing to the Department of Tourism (now DED) about their use of IT for nearly 10 years and wanted to complete my latest ear bashing!
But after starting well at 7 am (by co-ordinating all my previous correspondence) at 8.45 I thought I would spend 5 minutes on the manxathletics.com website. Fatal!
But it was good to link the film of Keith Gerrard's race (which Chris Quine sent to me) with all the other things about the Commonwealth Games.
Trouble is I want to read the papers now and I want to get that job done before going to the junior fell running later.
