Our guests arriving at our holiday cottage were married earlier in the day and travelled to their reception in Castletown past the cottage in a special carriage. I stood on the bank in the garden to take video and photos but if the train had been half an hour earlier I wouldn't have done, wedding day or not, because the heavens had opened.
I missed a chance to take photos of the lightening almost overhead at home tonight. I didn't even think about getting me camera out - I was scared!
