Locked in

I sent a quick reply to Steve Partington last night in response to the wonderful flow of information that has been arriving from Dehli.

I was surprised and delighted to receive a personal reply, taking account of his workload.

Although it was not a surprise to read the content, that the team have been virtual prisoners in the games village, it is such a shame. In past games it was one of the delights to see competitors mixing with locals.

Manchester 2002 was as good as it got and lots of people from the Isle of Man were able to mix freely with the competitors.
