It was a sad step tonight to edit the www.parishwalk.com website to remove the name of Scottish Widows. Without Scottish Widows, and its sister company Clerical Medical, the Parish Walk would not be the mass participation event that it is today. Make no mistake, it was a marriage made in heaven.
As soon as the relationship was dissolved there was a queue of admirers hoping to start a new romance. The path of the Parish Walk after Scottish Widows will be mapped out next month. The second marriage might even show the bride in an even better light.
