Crocus time

I was down in Kirk Michael this afternoon having a walk with Robbie and it was good to see the crocus lawn at our old family house, Erinville, coming into bloom.

The photo above with my parents appeared in Manx Life in (I think) spring 1978. They used have "Crocus teas" in aid of the Methodist Church. They weren't quite as novel as they sounded - they served ordinary tea and biscuits but with a chance to review the flowers.
