We set off to walk through Glen Maye this morning but it was so nice we decided to continue along the coast to Peel. Magnificent scenery. I had handicapped myself by going for a fairly tough run first thing and so I was as desperate to eat when we got to Peel as Marie and Robbie. We could see from Peel Hill that the Creek was crowded and when the footbridge closed as we reached it tension was getting high from Robbie. It looked nice and quiet at the Peveril and we ordered some good food and reasonable prices and the landlord was amazingly keen to meet Robbie's special dietary requirements.
We discovered that it was the first day that they had served food in the pub - ever. And we were there a little hour after they started serving. We'll be back within a 100 days never mind years. Highly recommended - as much as the scenery. There are still places I haven't been on our wonderful Island.
